Trail Notes The River Mountains Loop Trail is approximately 34 miles in length and surrounds the River Mountains connecting Lake Mead National Recreation Area, Hoover Dam, Henderson, Boulder City and the rest of the Las Vegas Valley. There are interpretive kiosks and wayside exhibits along the trail that explain the natural and cultural history of the area.
