Online Diabetes Prevention Program

Welcome to The Road to Diabetes Prevention, a self-paced online Diabetes Prevention Program! We understand that it is sometimes challenging to attend diabetes prevention classes in the community.

For this reason, the Southern Nevada Health District (SNHD) is bringing you information from the CDC’s Road to Health Toolkit, including some of SNHD’s Get Healthy videos, community resources and activities that you can do at your own pace.

This program includes several logs that we encourage you to use to set goals and record your progress. Feel free to visit our website and use our Blog, Facebook or Twitter to share your experiences.

If you have any questions about the program, email us at: gethealthy@snhdmail.org.

This program is not intended to replace clinical programs and does not take the place of medical advice. The content is based on recommendations issued by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. Most activities in the course can be found in the Road to Health Toolkit also included on the CDC’s website.
