Trail Notes The Rainbow Gardens Trail is located in the Rainbow Garden ACEC, which is on the east side of the Las Vegas Valley. The Rainbow Gardens ACEC contains the scenic Frenchman Mountain, Lava Butte, and canyon landscapes similar to those found in more remote locations of southern Nevada, but unique in its close proximity to the city, allowing people a wilderness-type experience within a few miles of their homes.
