Trail Notes
This is a 71-year-old hiking trail originally built by the Civilian Conservation Corps and lies between Red and Black Mountains. Once you get to the top the views are truly spectacular - one of Boulder City and Lake Mead and the other of the Las Vegas Valley and surrounding mountain backdrop, including Mt. Charleston. The trail is clearly marked and well maintained. With the mix of colors and variety of plant life as well as small animals. It is recommended that you take water; snacks/lunch; proper clothing and footwear; jacket; sun protection, and hat.
