Trail Notes The Petroglyph Canyon (100 Trail) accesses the Sloan Canyon Petroglyph Gallery Site, which is known for its large amount of petroglyphs in one area. The trailhead is located on the north edge of Sloan Canyon National Conservation Area, just south of the Las Vegas/Henderson urban area. An alternative route to get to the Petroglyph Gallery, if one doesn’t want to scramble over the dry falls, is to take the Cowboy Trail (200 Trail). Many hikers prefer using this combination of trails to make a loop – going in on one trail and coming back on the other. No pets allowed on this trail.
