Nutrition Challenge

Eating fruits and vegetables is an important part of a healthy diet. This free 8-week online program will help you increase the number of fruits and vegetables you eat each day.

The CDC recommends adult eats at least 1.5–2 cups of fruits and 2–3 cups of vegetables every day for optimal health. However almost half (41.2%) of adults in Clark County consume fruits less than once per day and a quarter (25.1%) of adults in Clark County consume vegetables less than once per day.

 

Get Started

  1. Sign up or login to the Nutrition Challenge.

  2. Each week you will be provided with information that will help keep you motivated including healthy recipes, healthy snacking tips and how to read a food label.

  3. After registering for the program, you will be able to enter your fruit and vegetable servings. You can enter servings throughout the day or once at the end of the day (whatever works best for you).

  4. At the end of the 8 week program:
    1. You can start the program over again
    2. View your previous challenge records
    3. Comment on the program
